Produced in 2004 by Palace Editions in collaboration with The State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, it was made to the highest archival standards, mirroring the colour accuracy, texture, and visual impact of the original 1933 chromolithograph. The official Palace Editions and State Russian Museum credits are printed in the margin — a mark of institutional provenance that distinguishes it from commercial reproductions.

The source work is Alexander Deineka’s 1933 poster “To Work, to Build” — one of the most recognised images in Soviet graphic art. Deineka (1899–1969) was a titan of Socialist Realism and Soviet Modernism, and this poster is among his most enduring works: a striking female discus thrower rendered in bold, clean lines, paired with a motivational verse that captures the era’s obsession with physical culture, collective discipline, and the idealised Soviet body. At 102 × 73 cm it is a definitive statement piece — particularly striking in a home gym, studio, or any interior that can hold something with this much presence.
